My intention :
This virtual space will be my honest space, where I do not fear sharing my truth. In day- to – day life, it can be monumentally challenging to be completely honest with our loved ones, mates … even/especially ourselves, when Mental Health is concerned. We don’t like to feel we are worrying people or “bringing down the mood”, do we?
However, by not honouring our feelings, experiences and insight, we deny ourselves the opportunity to heal, to grow, to connect.
I hope, that by sharing my own feelings, experiences and insight on grief, loss, trauma, recovery and chronic illness along with the myriad of “things” that have genuinely helped. I will do this as part of my own healing journey and with the intention to help others, without the hollow promises of toxic positivity or whitewashing.
